Demeter Côte d'Ivoire launched in 2023 to combat the problems faced by Ivorian farmers. Drawing on the Demeter group's experience and a modern soil testing laboratory, we are dedicated to helping farmers increase their productivity and profitability.
With an initial remit to tackle inefficiencies arising from poor soil fertility, erosion and particularly soil acidity, we began by distributing soil acidity stabilisers, as soil is the most important driver of plant health, and crop yield. As we deepened our roots in the sector, we started distributing fertiliser to cater to crop nutrition as well as soil health.
Demeter Côte d'Ivoire draws on the Demeter group's expertise in West Africa, where its sister companies have supported more than 200,000 farmers over the past decade. Our range spans mainstream and specialist agricultural inputs — inoculants, soil neutralisers, soil testing services, specialist sulphate products and more — selected to make farming in Côte d'Ivoire more productive, diverse and efficient.
